After trying and thoroughly enjoying the Tatuaje Line, I decided to pick up a couple of each of Don Pepin's cigars when last in Philadelphia. This $6.50 cigar was smooth with only slight veins and a nice oily sheen. A nicarugan puro, The cigar was firm but not hard. The pre-light draw had a taste of sweetness and it lit easily. The draw was perfect with lots of smoke and a good burn. The first inch had a burst of spice then it rolled into loads of flavor including nuts and cedar. The second third developed a slight fruitness. The last third gained strength and finished well. The ash was grayish white and held to an inch before I tapped it. It was not nearly as strong as the Tatuaje but made up for it in flavor. A good mid day cigar. All in all a very good cigar for the price.
