Double Shot Events

Any one been to any of the Drew Estate/Joyo Double Events in their towns?
One coming to MN a couple days that is a little bit of a drive and was wondering if it was worth the hike. Not looking to go and get a free Bashert or anything. Just wondering what I can expect as far as box sales and what not!

Usually a Drew Estate rep and they will have some type of box deals like 10% off plus 5-6 pack of cigars some type of swag and maybe raffles is what I have usually seen. Deals usually get better on multiple box purchases.

The shop may have some LE stuff but I wouldn't go expecting to see a pile of Unico's and HTF's at most DE events or any at all for that matter.

These type of events are more just "come hang out and take advantage of the deals" type of thing. You can probably call the shop and ask what type of deals they plan on having, worth a shot.

Some posters on here said they sucked. It was in a thread a couple months back. Said all they had were their regular production stuff with almost no discount at all

I'm gonna stop in around 5 if anyone wants to chat, I know this store doesn't normally carry any of the unico stuff and only one vitola of the undercrown. Went last month to the camacho event and walked out disappointed. Hoping I can score a HE or two and a Nica rustica, maybe a pig if there is any..

If the shop doesn't normally carry LP stuff I certainly would not go expecting to find any like Craig said. The one double shot event I went to had a couple deals on boxes or a buy 5 stix get 1 free kinda thing. What you will probably see is lots of Undercrown and JDN stuff. If it is a long drive I wouldn't really think it would be worth it because you could probably get better deals on the net. But, if you just went using it an excuse to meet up with some brother and chat with the rep, then it might be worth it.

FYI there was no event, rescheduled it for 7/2, even though I have a voicemail from one of the girls that says it was today. They had a lot more if the flavored stuff out and two packs of my Uzi in the walk in. I can't mAke it next week but if anyone does and they have any of the pigs grab me two! Haha!

I'll be stopping by the Tobacco Grove DE event next Thursday if I can get out of work at a decent hour. I believe it runs 4:00-7:30...

Well, like others posted before, nothing phenomenal.
They had full stock of all #9, T52, HE, Nica, KFC, and the sort. You could get your choice of one Unico (Rat, Pig or UF13) as part of a $100 seven cigar sampler (the other six being regular production) and swag for every 10 cigars purchased.
