  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

DPG Blue vs Tatuaje brown?

I like the noellas of Tatuaje. I really like the robusto size in DGP. Also, I fell inlove with the limited edition lancero. I am not sure if the new banded lanceros are the same.

Who would win in a steel cage death match? Tatuaje Or DPG ?
The new lanceros seem different to me. The Puff & Stuff lanceros are the SH!T. The new one started out great and went flat around the last third. That was very surprising to me coming from a DPG. I'm gonna give it another try.

I agree with most of what's been said about both marcas. I do believe the Tat to be a little more complex and refined. Like Wade, I love the pepper the DPG has. Both are great smokes and for me it just depends on my mood as to which one I pick.

Interesting...I decided to light up the dpg blue I have, its a lancero with the old label (from the lancero sampler box I think, same as the puff n stuff?). Ill put up a review later, but so far it seems very balanced, pepper and spice are very tempered with cocoa and coffee. It seems very medium-bodied to me, so that makes me think that when I try a tat I should go for the cazadores or cojonu...does that sound smart?

That sounds smart as long as ye try others if ye feel like it.

I like the Noellas best .... and the Cojonus ..... and the Cazadores ...... the Tainos and Reserva lines are very good too. The J21 is different from the other marcas, so probably not a good choice to see what the line is like, but very good in its own light. Just get the sampler and let us know what you like or not.

I think the original lanceros are smoother and a medium. Most Blues hit me as strong with loads of pepper. I like both but agree with Ken. Depends on the mood.
