  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I remember my first forray against this dreaded beast. I almost cried. New to this hobby, I purchased what the guy at this knock-off site says is a Monte #2 ($20) a RyJ (also $20) and a Jeon Jimenez. I get home and throw them in my first humi (Thompson Cigar combo).

Well, a couple of days go by and I open the humi and notice leaves all over the bottom of the humi (heck, I only had about 7 or 8 sticks). I jumped on the Net and read and read. I followed the directions I found, froze them and the sticks were saved.

Anyway, I found this out on the web and thought I would share it.

I found a larva once in a the foot of a BGM. After that I freeze all sticks coming from south of miami. Probably everything should probably frozen just to be safe.

You beat me to it I guess I was at my cigar club yesterday and asked the manager to bring out my boxes to drool over while inspecting them I noticed my cab of HdM Epicure No.2 had holes in them.. turns out the beetles got 'em had been ageing the cab for well over a year so its harsh luckily the club has a policy whereby it replaces all damaged smokes so I get a new cab but sadly has no age on it.
