Duluth Air Show 2017

I went and caught them during practice runs on Friday knowing Saturday and Sunday will have clouds and a chance they will not fly due to rain.

Brad , Just read today that we will have the Thunderbirds next year as well. First time the show will run 3 years in a row with out a break in between.

Beautiful pics! We get the Blue Angels every other year here on Long Island during Memorial Day weekend and of course a lot of other aircrafts too. This year was the Thunderbirds. Next year the blues will be back.

Awesome shots. What set up did you use for this?

Using my Canon 7D with my 400mm 5.6 fixed on a tripod. I was lucky that the weather was nice and sunny so it kept my shooting speeds fast enough to stop the action. I believe my ISO was 320 but will check.

Great pics! I sometimes have meetings in Duluth so I get there a few times a year. Beautiful city.
