  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Yep, pipe tobacco seems to be a very different beast. I haven't had royal yacht in probably 10 years so who knows what I'd think of it now. But I do still enjoy the same tobaccos from back then.

As with all things tobacco, smoke what you like, like what you smoke!

May your back be to the wind and your match stay lit.
Same to you mate, same to you!

@The_Rev i picked up the 5 for $35 at smokingpipes.com

Nightcap, Royal Yacht, EMP (oh yeah), Standard Mixture and Mixture 965

That's just the entrée though, I'm zeroing in on Aperitif, Elizabethan Mixture, Dunhill Flake, Deluxe Navy rolls, Ready rubbed and Durbar next order.
Apertif is a go-to for me. Flake is straight, simple Virginny goodness. Durbar is superb. DNR ditto. EMP and Nightcap are classics that I smoke constantly. Oh hell, they're all great!

Dunhill seems to he some flack from the FOGs because it's not the same as the old Dunhill.... But I really enjoy Nightcap and EMP even more. Enough that I recently picked up Aperitif and London Mixture.
