Got this today. When I did I thought yup there is a date and I won't bother to write it on. Then I noticed it was 2018. Anyone know how Dunhill dates their tins? I have several Macbarren tins with a year on the back that I thought were accurate.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The code on the right tells you who, what, when and where it was made.
Kind of like the old CC factory codes. This one is from Dec17. Still don't get why it says 2018 on it though.

Yeah you're right. Nice to have a few years on it.
Maybe they are taking the queue from McClellend who kicked off 2016 Christmas Cheer by selling 2017 Christmas Cheer at the same time. I mean seriously, why wait?
