Dupont X-Tend Repairs

Anyone ever have to get theirs fixed? Mine is out of warranty but I want to see if fixing it will be cheaper than buying a new one. Is the only place to fix it in France??

Mark should be able to confirm this, but I think you can just send it to their shop in the US (I think they are distributed & repaired by Colibri). Tell them what you need done and they will quote you a price.

Now that the US distributor didn't resign (they were also in charge of repairs), I'm not entirely sure.

I've contacted ST Dupont several times with no response.

You can try the old place to see if they are still handling repairs.

I have heard that there are a lot of problems with those lighters!!! My local B&M is selling all of their lighters for like 50% off just to get rid of them!!!!

I've never had a problem with an X-tend. I wonder if the difference is between the old French production and the new Chinese production.
