This was gift from Mitch and he gave me two so I could share with a friend, but due to a small family crisis my buddy is out of touch for a while (we were to smoke the Tat Blacks which I'll wait for his return) I decided to fire this one up after a round of golf yesterday.
I had had a few frosty cold beers but decided to switch to Mojito's for this cigar. It started with an ice coffee taste smooth and cool almost menthol like, it could be the mint in the Mojito so I switched to coffee. This was a great choice as the coffee really made the flavor jump out. Coffee and an almond like nuttiness stayed through the first half with a floral note trying to come through, then a toasty sweetness showed up (like a smores with the marshmallow gooy not burnt) this lasted only a few drags then it was creamy coffee with a cinnamon/nutmeg spice and the finish was looooooong.
I think you could pass this cigar off as Cuban to 90% of smokers and my friend will not see it's brother.
Thanks Mitch and I look forward to trying the other cigars you gifted me but this one is going to be hard to beat.
