I lost my nicest lighter while I was in Miami. I need something for when I am stepping out in style. I don't want to spend the money for a S.T. Dupont.

The lighter I lost was a Colibri Flint Jet. I kind of like the flint style lighters but I am open.

It was similar to this:

I liked it because it wore really well. It did not get scratched up or show any marks.

What do you carry? Have you seen a good deals lately? Any ideas?

Love the Xikar products! What can you say with a "Lifetime Warranty"? Plus our Xikar Rep in Hawaii is the best!

This is what I believe Xikar's warranty is about… Their products are marked up a little more than the competition’s comparable accessories, but not double, so a similar BrandX that cost $30 would be Xikars $40 item. If you break or if it goes bad, there goes $30! On Xikars items, just send it back and they will repair or replace it! If you lose it, well…. In my case, I personally own the Xikar EX Soft Flame/Wind Proof Lighter which has a wind-proof element in the lighting chamber that will go bad after 8months to a year of use (which I believe is normal for those wind-proof types). I’ve owned this lighter for 4years and just sent it in for repair/replacement. I never had a problem from the company and this is the 3rd lighter that they are replacing! If there are any other producer that matches the warranty that Xikar has at a better price, let me know.

They also sell other items like cutters, travel humis, hydos , butane, and Cigars (HCs – that don’t have a “Lifetime Warranty”) that are added sales and those are the items that probably contribute heavily to the company’s profitability as those rarely break or go bad.

As far as sales, I was skeptical at first, as the price was a little more, but now I am not afraid to tell the customers that it is “for life” (which is a big plus) -they just need to send it back in if there is a problem. No “proof of purchase”, “sales receipt”, “registration/warranty”, or if it falls under the “1-2yr warranty time period” just send it in!...SOLD! In fact, at our store, we will replace it for them if we have the same item on hand (which we can also check if it’s just out of fuel or something stupid like that) and we will send in the product for replacement. So don’t be afraid of picking up a Xikar as they are beautiful lighters and cutters plus they have a lifetime warranty. Check em’ out at your local B&M or go to www.xikar.com for suggestions.
