I'm finishing up my first Emilio Draig K, a pc (thanks John), and this is quite an interesting cigar. It's very aromatic and flavorful. I'm not a fan of it's appearance, seems to have darker and uncharacteristically uniform wrapper than normal fermenting provides but I am enjoying the cigar; though it does use a Colombian wrapper that I've yet to encounter if that explains the appearance. Will probably pick up a couple more to see where how much I enjoy the line. Any one else smoking these?

I have been smoking quite a few of these and have really enjoyed them. I have had some burn issues with the corona size. I've been told that the Colombian wrapper is really moist and to dry box them a little longer. I like the toro best out of these

I smoked one a few weeks ago and got a lot of interesting, enjoyable flavors out of it also. Really liked it except for burn issues the whole time, had to touch up 5 or 6 times...any burn issues on yours?

These will have burn issues because of the wrapper. It was something that apparently could not be helped without changing the wrapper and losing out on the flavor that makes it what it is...

I had some burn issues as well, I chalked it up to travel time as I just was bombed this w/some other badass cigars from John. Interesting that it's a common theme. Brandon, do you have any burn issues with the toro?

Hey Warren, glad you enjoyed it. I've had one so far and have some more sitting in my humidor. I enjoyed the one I had, but haven't made up my mind about it yet, interesting is a good word to describe my thoughts on them right now. Definitely one I need to smoke a few more to make up my mind on, but enjoyable nonetheless

EDIT: I had some burn issues with this one as well, was planning on dry boxing the next one longer

I love this stick. I prefer the Corona which I have heard is the best vitola and is regularly my favorite. I burn my fingers smoking to the nub.

The prelight draw is the most complexly flavorful prelight draw I think I've ever taken. An absolute stunner.

I've spoken to Gary about the burn issues many people have complained about and he stated they must be kept in ideal conditions because the wrapper is very fickle. I gave these two weeks to rest and the burn was practically perfect. The retrohale gave a bit of spice/pepper/strength, but also provided some really interesting and complex flavors. This is not a beginner cigar, but is definitely a quality smoke that I keep several of in my humidor, and I might argue was my favorite new cigar of 2012.

the burn annoyed the crap out of me, but i thought the overall package was worth suffering through, as it really came off as it's own deal, unique among a VERY broad field of available smokes. wish i had picked up enough to learn to dry box: closest place i have physically laid eyes on these at is an hour and a half away, and after bombing a few out, i had two for myself.

I have been wanting to try a Emilio for awhile but just haven't hotter around to ordering some. Sounds good though.
