  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'd like to send my uncle some cigars in The Hague and I think it would be less expensive if I ordered from a site on the continent. Do you know of any sites like JR, CI, or Famous that operate in Europe? Also, which country have the least amount of taxes and therefore the least expensive sticks? Any info would be great.

Or, alternatively would it be cheaper to ship some Padrons or Fuentes from the states?

I have never sent any cigars over seas so I do not know. Just call each company and ask how much to ship them over.

Also stop by the introduction forum and post an introduction and tell us a little about yourself, and likes and dislikes about cigars and life in genaral.

I would compare prices in the Hague and how much to ship to Uncle locally. Then compare the prices stateside and how much to ship to Uncle. I believe you will need to do the footwork and decide what is best for you and the Uncle. Far as taxes, that varies country to country. Again up to you to track and make decision yourself. I have never done this so other than advise not much I can offer.

Far as I know, non of the companies you mention have cigar operations overseas, they would need to be bought stateside and shipped overseas.
