I hit the cigar real quick to knock the ash off and a tad bit of the wrapper came up. I noticed there was something red under the wrapper so I peeled some of the wrapper off. Looks like someone used some kind of marker on it. Is this normal for leaves to be marked with a marker?

Man made brother. Who knows. Writing something on a document for the pallet or stack of tobacco and crosses over into the leaf? How's the stick taste?

In about 10,000 cigars, I've seen it once. I was smoking something, I can't remember what, but the wrapper split on me, and I found a mark like that on the binder. Makes me wonder if this is not more common than we think. I mean, if a binder or filler leaf is marked with a number or such, how would anyone know, unless the cigar split on ya.
