I wanted to see what everyone's "everyday" or "go to" scotch is.

I have about 12 bottles of scotch in my cabinet right now and that is slowly growing since I joined a scotch society. While I do have several "rare" bottles from this society I have my go to scotch while I try and save those for a once in awhile.

Currently I have to saw Balvenie is one of the better scotches to drink on a regular basis. The Double Wood at about $50 is a great value and such a great drink. Even then the 15yr at about 70$ isn't bad for the price either.

What about everyone else?

Oban 14 is one of my favorites!
It isn't my everyday I don't drink it every day, so I don't have one.

I actually drink bourbon much more frequently now.

As an everyday? Right on!

I'm more partial to JW Black as an everyday dram. It's easier at $35 a bottle. If money wasn't an issue though I would switch to the Mac CS for sure!
I have gotten away from the blended for a little more you can get such a better single malt. My .02

Highland Park 12. Lovely stuff for 28-35/btl. and if you stock up around christmas, you can snag a few little 50mls of the 18yr in their gift boxes.

I was just the opposite. I was drinking top shelf most days and it just got expensive. It was pretty refreshing to go from JW Black to a single malt on occasion.

Highland Park 12 is truly one of the best values on the market. I wish I could afford to drink Lagavulin every day. . .:)

Also, if you like a little smoke with your fire, try to track down a bottle of Black Bottle 10.

It's a blend of the Islays, and it's truly excellent stuff for about $20/btl.

Won Malt Adv.'s blend of the year in... 09 maybe? Good stuff, as well.
