I use Boveda humidipaks exclusively for humidity control, when they expire, I soak them in a little distilled water in a sandwich baggy for a few days to recharge them. It takes about 3-5 days to fully recharge depending on how desiccated it was when you pulled it from the humi. I check in on it every 12 hours or so, once I no longer feel the solid bits inside the Boveda anymore, it's full. Then I just dry it out for an hour or so, put in in a dry baggy for a week or two to stabilize, then it seems to be good to go into the humidor. My question is this, does anyone else do this? What is your experience?
