Very happy to finally share the news!

Famous Smoke Shop Lowers Pricing on Cigar Packs
Cigar Packs Will Now Be Sold at the Lowest Prices Allowed by Manufacturers

There's a reason cigar smokers are very good at math. It has a lot to do with wanting to buy cigars at the lowest prices, especially when it comes to buying 5-packs, rather than going all-in on a full box of cigars. Famous Smoke Shop -- the leading online distributor of discounted premium cigars, specializing in offering the web's widest selection of cigars at the lowest prices -- wants to give cigar consumers a break from their calculators by doing the math for them and offering cigar packs at the lowest advertised price.

"This will mean more savings for our pack-buying customers going forward," said Famous Smoke Shop Purchasing and Merchandising Director, Jim Charnley. "Since we are already selling boxed cigars at the minimum advertised prices, packs that are created from a given box will be priced accordingly, rather than at a slightly higher per-cigar markup, which has been the case, until now."

The reason cigar smokers pay a little more per-cigar for packs has to do with extra labor involved, such as, breaking up the boxes, packaging, labeling, adding the new SKUs to the database, and placing them into inventory.

Depending on the brand, a box of cigars can take a significant bite out of a consumer's budget. This is one of the reasons that 3-packs, 4-packs, 5-packs, etc. are a good value. Take, for example, a box of 20 cigars that sells for the minimum advertised price of $138.95. Many prospective buyers would rather opt for a 5-pack at $36.99. So, out comes the calculator, and they see the result is around $7.40/cigar. However, if the box price is divided evenly by 20, each cigar comes out to around $6.95, a difference of 45¢ per smoke.

Mr. Charnley asserted that the non-sale product pricing for 5-packs and other configurations will now be "much more equitable," and added, "With the new pricing structure, a pack of five Romeo y Julieta Capulet Magnum that sold for $25.99, will now sell for $23.99. That's a decrease of 7.7%, which is significant."

More than just the wide variety of packs that are available every day on the Famous-Smoke.com website will be affected by the new pricing structure. Customers should also be aware that more frequency and variety will be available in both the "5-Pack Frenzy" and "Sampler Frenzy" promotions.

"At the end of the day," said Mr. Charnley, "Famous Smoke Shop customers will know that when they buy cigars in packs, they will be paying the lowest advertised price allowed."
