The original Rocky and the original Star Wars were made in the 70's. Empire Strikes Back was 1980-1981. Just sayin.... I was 10 when original Stars Wars was in movies.
I was a H.S. freshman in 1979-1980 school year. I remember when most of these were in the movies.

Don't mean to hi-jack this thread. Hope you don't mind but what about the WORST MOVIES OF THE 80's

1. Parasite 3d
2. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (may have been 70's)
3. A Clockwork Orange
4. Ice Bandits
4. Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
5. Flash Gordon

I'm sure if I put a little more time I could come up with a host more

+1 for GI Joe. Btw, I would add Transformers to that
+1 Monster Squad

I am not ashamed of the fact I own all four of those movies on DVD

Yeah! GI Joe The Movie! Maybe the best worst animated movie ever.

Also, how has RAD not been mentioned yet? Anyone remember that? Or "The Peanut Butter Solution"?
