Every morning i go to the humidor, with hot cup of coffee in hand and i pick out a cigar. It took me awhile to notice i have nothing in terms of a mild/medium cigar. So im gonna get a box (corona is my favorite vitola) headed this way asap! So botl's, any recommendations? Looking for lots of flavor, low in nicotine & if i save some cash that'd be great too

Recently I have been loving Ashton 8-5-8's in the morning. Nice mild smoke with great flavor. There is a good review of them on cigar obsession. Not the cheapest cigar but price is worth it.

A couple I've been enjoying lately are the Smoking Jacket and La Cima ENg.

H. Upmann Legacy is pretty good. I used to like the Rocky Patel 1990 Vintage as it has a coffee note to it, but the blend no longer resonates with me.

I smoke whatever I would smoke in the afternoon or evening, in the morning. But I'm adventurous like that.

I normally sleep to long to have a morning smoke, but when I do get up to have one I normally have a stick from a local B&M I really enjoy.

When I first started smoking back in 2005, bought a cab of PLPC. Probably haven't had one since I finished those things off right away. Keep telling myself to buy some more, but I just never get around to it.

I don't get to smoke in the mornings. If I did, it would likely be PLPC. Perhaps an HdM if I wanted something larger.

I prefer my first smoke of the day to be the "best" smoke of the day because my palette is the freshest in the morning. I know that doesn't help you with suggestions, but just food for thought since it kinda goes against the train of thought of start off mild in the morning and stronger in the evening.

Most Cubans are good morning smokes.
First Cuban I ever had was when I went from San Diego to Tijuana with my brother. It was 11 am, and I hadn't eaten or drank anything. The Cohiba Siglo XI made me nauseous, and I thought I was going to hurl. After that day, I've always made sure to eat before having a strong cigar.

fuente magnumR 44, hands down my fave. followed by an anejo 46. followed by a MKultra or dirty rat. if they were regularly available.

most of my favorite music starts "1 2 3 GO!" and descends into mayhem from there, so personally not a huge believer in the soft start. YMMV. o)

Anejo is definitely light enough for the morning.

Short, 45min smokes during the weekdays like a Tat Verocu#5, Epernay Petit, or a Fuente SS (recently it's been the Reinado Habanito, fantastic). Morning weekends, usually anything with an EC wrapper..

I like to start with a new non broadleaf smoke when my palette is fresh. This allows me to experience the new smoke/wrapper while I have my witts about me. I always have the "heavy" hitters to fall back on later

If I get to have a morning smoke, it's usually when at the RV and before breakfast, so I don't go full body. Regular choices are Fuente 8-5-8, Upmann Vintage Cammy, PDR 1878 Capa Maduro, '07 original release Morado, Torano 1916 cammy, and Gullermo Leon to name a few. This morning, it was right at freezing, so I went with a MUWAT Bait Fish.

I usually stay with sweet aromatic cigar like the acid line of Drew Estates... It's crazy but "toast" is one of my favorite morning smokes!
