I am about to head out to see The Princess Bride at a local theater. I have seen it many times before and it is a classic I will never lose interest in. One of my other favorite movies of all time is Mallrats. I have others but my ride is here so I will post later.

Post your favorite movies here and share any suggestions with all of us.

Fight Club, Clerks, The "of the Dead" films, the LotR trilogy, Princess Bride, RHPS, Requiem for a Dream, Say Anything, and pretty much any John Cusack 80s romantic comedy.

The Wedding singer, what a flashback. Watch it at least once a month.

Caddy Shack and Blazing Saddles. Got them both for my birthday last year. I remember seeing Blazing Saddles in the 70's. I didn't get the humor back then because I was too young. A movie like that wouldn't be released today.

Thanks for mentioning "Mallrats" and "Clerks" reminds me that I need to go out and get those and the rest of the ViewAskew movies. I've been watching a lot of TV DVD's recently. I need to bust out some of the old classics. "Blazing Saddles" may get called up first

The Princess Bride is one of my all time favorites also. Some other movies I really like are Groundhog Day and Better Off Dead.

I have several differnt categories for "Favorite movies."

Chick flicks:

While you were sleeping.
Sleepless in Seattle.

Guy movies:

Mad Max.
Harely Davidson and The Marlborro Man.
Tango and Cash.
The Godfather.
Tora!Tora!Tora!
PT 109.

Foreign films:

Godzilla, (the original).
Destroy all monsters.
Life is Beautiful.

Sci Fi:

Serenity.
Blade Runner.
Alien, (all except 'Alien III).
X-men.

Disaster Movies:
Poseiden Adventure, (the 70's version).
Airport 77.
Towering Inferno.
Dawn of the dead, ( the latest version).
Armegeddon, (this one fits in several categories).

I am pretty dissapointed by movies lately, I watched "Stealth" last week, and I sat there and said "Good Lord, this is a piece of shit." I watched "King Kong" with my GF, and guess what? The monkey died. We both agreed that the 70's version of King Kong was the better one. (I have a secret crush on Jessica Lang).

I keep waiting and waiting for new movies to come out, but lately Hollywood seems to be churning out bad films and re-makes.

All around movies it would be

Pulp Fiction...I know every line.
Cool Hand Luke is a must watch every time.

Cadillac Man for obvious reasons
Glen Gary Glen Ross is a must watch for any salesperson.

Training day and Man On Fire are awsome.

Cant go wrong with Bullitt.
