Of the new releases I've tried this year, the EP Carillo has been my favorite, followed by the Air Bender. I still have the Viaje S&B, Tat Verocu Tubo, and Dark Corojo in the humi to try, and several others I will be picking up this week, so we'll see how this changes for the 2nd half of the year.

I voted for the Short Run also. I detected a very interesting and fairly unique citrus flavor in these. I also heard the longer sticks needed a little more time to come around.

4 1/2 x 50, sounds good thanks.
I think these are really 4 7/8 x 50

I'm happy to see that the short run has been so well received. I hope it leads to continued success for Ernesto and he can keep releasing these great batches of tobacco. That said, my favorite as late has to be the La Aurora 107 robusto. Each time I have one it grows on me a little more.

Yea, I've only had 5 of the ones on this list myself, so far: Air Bender, El Triunfador, EPC Short Run, Cain F, and Verocu Tubo.

I like them all and haven't had enough of any of them, but for me the Air Bender is the #1 cigar of the year so far. The others are great cigars, but for me the Air Bender is a "holy crap" type of smoke.

Hmmm I'm smoking another El Triunfador right now, the lancero this time. Wow ... I like this a LOT better than the robusto! This is a very good cigar ...

Yep...the #6 is the best of the line BY FAR, IMHO...in fact, I don't bother smoking any other vitola...

While I debated for literally 5 min on this one, I had to go with the Dark Corojo JdN. What a fabulous smoke and it was VERY tough for me to go with it over the 107. Both are amazing IMHO.

This thread has got me thinking ... maybe we should try to do some sort of official BOTL Top 25 Cigars of 2010 list at the end of the year. What do you guys think?

Sounds good, we can pick a panel of 12 brothers and have them blind test cigars donated by the manufacturers. :glassesgr

Seriously without a blind sampling the list would end up being a "favorites" list as opposed to a "Top" or "Best" list. Not that a "BOTL Favorites of 2010" list isn't just as cool. :applause:

I guess I meant more of a favorites list ... though I'm certainly open to a blind test
