Hillbilly Steaks BBQ Sauce
2 cups cider vinegar
1 1/3 cup of water
1 cup of Ketchup
3/4 cup of brown sugar
5 teaspoons of kosher salt
4 teaspoons of Hot Red Pepper Flakes
1 teaspoon fresh black pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper

It's thin, so it's better for coating or dipping - could thicken it up with tomatoe paste instead of ketchup & maybe add some heat & maybe honey for chicken.

I'll make it to the deck SOME day!

All right Mark I will make some of the Chicken with this and let you know how it turns out:thumbsup: I usually try and marinate it for a day or 2.

The Deck welcomes all anytime "Yes Dear" and "The 4lp" say so:grin:

A brunch is a lot tougher because you are essentially trying to cover courses from 2 meals.

Typical menu would include:

Beverages
Coffee
Juices
Water (including sparkling waters)
Champagne is a must (mamosas (sp?) is OJ & Champagne)

Fruit platter
Cheese & cracker platter
Some appetizers like prawns, bruschetta (this is an easy one that tastes great) & salads

Main courses usually include omlettes, waffles, crepes (or pancakes & french toast) with whipped cream & berries. Don't forget the meats - ham, sausage, bacon. Other options are eggs benedict, a fritatta & quiches.

Also more "lunch" type stuff - Paninis are a great option here and pretty easy to do with two skillets instead of a "Panini" machine.

Desserts - a simple cheesecake usually goes over well or fresh berries & cream.

Hope this helps bro!
