I hope Raul doesn't go into power.
There's a guy at my cigar lounge in the springs, and he's an old war hero. He actually knew Castro, and when the missile crisis began he was the guy the air force asked to lead the mission to fly over Cuba(he declined, tho).
He's smoked with castro a few times, and says that castro is not even really a communist. He just wanted what was best for his people, and Raul and Che were the dicks who turned Cuba communist.
So I would hope that Raul doesn't go into power, cause that could be worse than before.
Although this information is like 40 years old, so who knows how he would act now. It's not like I've been reading Raul's blog to see what his current feelings are.

I personally think it's derogatory to say someone's "gay" when it's not pertinent to the conversation, and I didn't see any POSITIVE reason whatsoever why Kenny would say anything about Raul's sexual orientation. It sounded to be like an additional reason to bash him, that's all. That's what I felt, so that's what I said. The rest of you are adults, feel free to make your own decisions.

But let me ask you this, Kenny: if it "doesn't matter" that he's gay, why would you bring it up in the first place? :dunno:

The word gay is a socially accepted term for homosexuals. The N word is not. That's the difference there. However I can see that is was not pertinent to the topic. BTW lesbians are not nearly as cool as Bi chicks. That way at least I have the remote chance of gettin in on the action.
