My wife sent me a Chemex so I was able to have my first decent cup of coffee since I got to Korea. Up until now its been "work" coffee...Folders in a regular old drip coffee pot....meh

Still gotta find somewhere to get some good beans around here, but this was definitely a step in the right direction.

When I was in Turkey I ordered beans from Blackdog coffee who used to be a site sponsor and active member of Botl. I bought the.grinder I am still using 6 years later from him.

pour over, french press, or even aeropress are THE best ways to go for a great cup without a huge equipment investment (which, y'know, nonCONUS, is probably a factor for you right now). glad to hear the quality of life went up a little for you! o)

also, i seem to recall someone bombing me some black dog a couple few back, and if they will ship, their shit is solid.
