  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Finally broke down and bought a pipe

It's a Fe-Ro. Don't ask other details, I have no clue, lol.

Had a smoke of Yorkshire with it and of course had to keep relighting.

I'm going to give it some time, but my initial impression is I prefer cigars.

Time will tell!

This pic is from the Fe-Ro site, might not be the exact pipe but it looks like this.

Good luck. I'm pretty new at pipes and learning the ropes myself. Lots of good YouTube "how to" videos on pipes out there.

Congrats, there's a learning curve for sure but pipes can be very enjoyable. In my experience the better cake you have in the bowl the better it will smoke (not as many relights). I HATE breaking in new pipes but the end result is usually worth it.

Nice looking pipe as well.

Good looking pipe and congrats on trying the world of baccy. I know some don't like it right away, I think (IMO) that it takes a bit to get the packing down so it stays lit. Just a little practice and you will have it down. And check out some various pipe sights, they have a pipe smoking tutorial type of instructions. And there is a thread on here as well.
