Glad to hear but I wouldn't ever recommend using a torch on a pipe. Your running the risk of burning the pipe out. A torch is way too hot for briar.

Not to mention way to hot for the tobacco, if you can’t get the tobacco to light with a match or a soft flame you might want to dry your tobacco

Just cause i use a torch doesnt mean im smoking it like crack. Just gotta pull the torch back so it just gets hot enough to light.

Tobacco is also dry enough to use a soft flame. I use a torch when i do typically outta shear laziness cause thats whats close by.

Tyler, I wasn’t trying to criticize you brother, I’m sure you have enough experience to understand the risk. My comment was for the newer members who might be struggling with some of the basics. Pipe smoking can be very frustrating at times and I’ve seen a lot of people give up before they get it figured out.
