Looks like pete had a fire but his crew was able to contain it before it got to the barns. Pics are on his facebook but didn't give many details...where were you jolietfire??? Geez... :cbig:

Actually, Jaime, Pepin´s son had a fire at one of his farms. I just happened to be there. Jaime and his crew moved quickly and contained it before hitting any of the barns..... The security at the farm watched a car drive up and drive off quickly as the fire flaired up. There was a brief time last night when I was happy not to own anything down here.....

Me grandad was not only a tobacco farmer (cigarette) and also worked for the government. One thing I learnt from him regarding this sort of things is that it's the people with a suit who burn farms up. The ones who actually farm themselves simply beat the shite out of ye.
