  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Got to try the pipe again today. It stayed lit!. Still, flavor is nothing like cigars. Smoked Irish coffee tobacco.

Very different from cigars that's for sure. I've been finding enjoyment in it though. Especially when you get a good burn all the way through.

Yep, the packing is key. Here what I have read and seems to work well.
Fill your pipe with three portions of baccy
First bit, pack it with the strength of a baby
Second bit, pack it with the strength of a woman
Third bit, pack it with the strength of a man
And always just use your finger strength, not arm strength.

And there is a very wide variety of baccy out in terms of flavor. Just find a good sampler and see what you like.

try to get your hands on some Habana Daydream by C&D, it's blended with cigar leaf and from my experience it has yielded a very spicy and enjoyable smoke similar to some NC cigars I've had in the past
