  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I've purchased from Famous in the past, nothing wrong with them at all. A lot of their prices are higher than CI but that varies too. I like some of the ARs but I've never had that particular one.

My cutters are all reverse scissor style Credo from our local B&M. Six bucks a piece and they last forever. I think I got these about a year and a half ago and they still cut well.


They sell for between $15-40 online, I can't believe how much people are asking for them when I can get them at my price all day long.

On another note, got a PM today from a member here (not sure if they want to be named) that offered to send me a V cutter for free. This place just gets better and better the longer I'm here. Thanks again.

Now to wait for someone to donate a humidor. haha

Since I had such a great experience with Famous Smoke Shop I decided to place another order today. Picked up the right boveda packs today and a hydrometer. Next on the list is to find a proper storage.

Nothing truly magic about a humidor, except the wood. Toss some Spanish cedar in your tupperware, and Boom! You have yourself a "tuppedor."

Put it in a cooler with a good seal, and BOOM! You have yourself a coolidor... No worries.

Yeah that's what I'm looking at next is a cooler, I've already out grown my 2 tuppers I have. Heading over to Walmart today to see what I can find.

I love these cutters. We've got 8 billion of them laying around the shop for use, never had a problem with one. I have an Xi3 for personal use, but honestly the Credos work just as good.

Ok, I posted this in the other thread you posted a pic of your tupper.

BTW: Go to www.monstercigar.com on Tues. and Fridays. All day mashup. This site is a Famous Smoke site and everything,, 99% at least, is free shipping. The BOTLORG code also works minus the brands you can't. You can get some really good smokes for 4$ to $6 each in fivers.

1. wash it with some lite dishwasher soap and rinse thoroughly. Let it air out for a day or two.
2. Depending on what size it is if you can fit an empty box in there or line it with some cedar sheets that come in cigar boxes
3. If you put a box in it. While still without cigars put a glass with a sponge (new, unscented) filled with distilled water for a couple days so the box gets humidified.
4. Remove water, place cigars in empty box and add 1 to 2 boveda packs. Usually 1 will work in a small tupper like that.
5. Add hygrometer. and your all set.
