goinf to start with Nebo brand. They are considered middle of the road tech wise. Not the latest, most expensive technology, but not old.

for example, a 50 lumen light for $10. 130 lumen for $25.

for comparison, a mini Maglite that you will see in a discount store selling for $10 - $12 will be about 15 lumens.

I figured as much, but had to ask. LED technology is coming along at a rapid pace. To think it started as mostly little lights in electronics, and is moving toward being the norm for lighting of all kinds.

Executive e2e. Its been a super awesome flashlight and I'll wind up replacing the bulb eventually. I've had to fall back on an AimShot since the surefire died, which is a decent little flashlight too. But, as a gadget freak... one can never have too many toys.
