The whole system is flawed, but the colleges will never give up the bowl system, too much money involved. I don't really care this year anyway, my Penn State Nitanny Lions suck big time this year. :ballbounc

Nonsense. An undefeated team in the Big 12 or ACC is completely different than a one loss team in the SEC or Big 10. The BCS calculations take this into account.

I think it is size as well as strength. In other states, all they have is football and life revolves around it Therefore drawing more viewers.

Say Rutgers goes undefeated, is that to say they are not a strong program? In comparison to those larger schools, they won't be as strong.

I've just never liked the BCS system, I think it could be done better.

Oh and by the looks of it right now, the Gators should be worried. They're not handling SC easily. And Auburn lost to GA @ Auburn. So they're out of the hunt now, IMO.
