So the previous night I had smoked one of the best cigars I have had in a while - the Oliva Serie V torpedo. It was amazing and will be in my regular rotation, which is getting to be almost too big now - is that possible? Anyways, tonight I followed it up with the Fonseca Cubano Limitado. It was the Belicoso Corto (5x52) and is a favorite of my local cigar club owner's. He buys it by the box so I figured I would give it a try. It has a dark oily wrapper (which I love) and veiny exterior. On first draw I thought, eh its okay. The burn was fine and fairly even. The taste started out toasty, but as I got closer to the end it had a very different kind of spicy taste. Was not what I was expecting and it did not have the volume of smoke I like, but it was a very enjoyable stogie. Not sure I would buy it again for the money ($6.50 per stick at my local place), but if you like a little spice in your cigar and need to try out something new to change up your rotation then this is a solid cigar to consider. Also consider I could have been suffering from an Oliva V hangover of awesomeness, so my review could have been tainted :).
