  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I was cleaning out storage yesterday and came across an old cigar box. I cannot find anything about the manufacturer or the box! Does anyone have some info on this? The top says Now 5 cents B-F-A Cigar Warranted All Long Filler manufactured by B.F. Adams, Bangor, ME. On the front it says B-F-A Londres then on each side it says Boitenature.

The bottom says Fact. No. 39 Dist. Of Me. 100

The shop is going along.... we have secured the building, have it under contract. Just waiting for the bank to say "Here is your money". We estimate the opening day to be May 15th..... hopefully. Can't be earlier because we are headed to Cigar Fest on May 2nd. Got my cigar nut tickets :) oh yeah, and a shirt to get more free stuff.

Trying to learn more about cigars and talk to people to figure out what to stock in the store. I have the website secured as well elmcitycigar.com The girl in the picture will be one of the attendants for the VIP room.

Sounds like a solid foundation. I'd suggest Macanudo. Not because I'm a fan, but because it will sell.

You might want to scope cigarbid.com and see what is popular there. Might help you pick the top vitolas and brands.

HAHAHA Yeah, we are up in the woods! I live another hour north of where the store is going to be. The building is so huge we are putting an owners quarters upstairs just in case we don't want to drive home. If you do want to visit I will give you a free day VIP pass :) The VIP lounge offers 2 free drinks per day of wine or bourbon, snacks, plasma tv, pool table, card tables, darts, big comfy leather furniture and SEXY gals to cut and light your cigars. The VIP room is about 2000 sf with a bar.

I know it's just a tentative list, but....

If you're stocking Drew Estate, does that mean you'll be stocking their Liga Privada #9 as well? That's a kick ass cigar, for real.

If you're going to stock Don Pepin, how about some other brands that Pepin is the manufacturer for? Like EO (601 & Cuabo) or Tatuaje (probably the #1 brand you'll hear folks here say you should carry) and other Tatuaje brands like Cabiguan and La Riqueza.

Also, maybe Illusione?

And hey, what about Padron?

And ooo, Ashton? Especially their San Cristobal line (another Pepin manufactured cigar)

Shit....sounds like 90% of what I smoke, you don't have on your list. LOL not saying your list is bad--just that it's missing the type of things that I personally buy in cigar shops.
