Freezing in Los Angeles

OMG it is 44 degrees and windy in Los Angeles and I am bundled up like an Eskimo smoking a cigar sitting next to a portible heater out by the pool listening to The Stones - Sister Morphine thinking if I had some Morphine I might not be this cold.

I grew up in southern california....it makes you soft for dealing with weather.... I remember people actually getting excited for the rain there.
Now that I am in Portland, well we don't get so excited for it. Can't wait to go down there next month!

I played golf yesterday morning. It started off at 34 degrees and then the wind picked up, keeping it near the 40 degree mark for 18 holes. It's cold for Los Angeles standards. Have fun in ChiTown Michael. Lol

It's like that here in Phoenix right now too. So cold outside a buddy of mine's pool froze over last night. He has a 1/2 inch thick sheet of ice on top of his pool this morning! Grew up here in Phoenix and I have NEVER seen that. Crazy cold for us right now.
