Fuente 8-5-8 Maduro

Decided to spark this one after talking to jj about how good they were. It was definately a great cigar!!

Started off sporting a nice spice/wood flavour.

the spice soon died down and revealed a sweet cedar taste!

Ending was as great as the beginning! flaky, white ash didnt hold great tho...amazing smoke!

Unfortunately, storm came and ended the bilss :argh:

I had one last night as well and had a similar experience to yours. I didn't enjoy the last 1/3 - a bit too much cedar for me - but the rest of the smoke was good. The ash was a bit porous, but all in all, at that price point, it's a great smoke.

Good review, Paul. One question though. In your first picture, were you already a fair ways into the cigar? I seem to recall the 858 being a lonsdale sized stick. I could be wrong though.
