  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ok so theres another thread where everyone is sharing horror stories about POS cigar shops....theres one close to me with boxes of Padron 1964, but they all have beetle holes....if and I mean if i could talk the owner into a deal, do you think I could get rid of the beetles and what price range is acceptable for cigars in such shape.....thanks in advance for all the input...:waving:

Not worth it. It there are too many holes, the draw will be screwed. Add in you should deep freeze them and bring them back to life slowly. Not worth the trouble.

I'm thinking just the information that he has beetles, assuming he doesn't really know, and then the direction of how to one; eliminate and 2; prevent should gain you a large and long discount.

I don't understand this at all, my understanding was shops could give any buggy cigars back to the reps for credit. Only time I've ever found a B&M selling cigars with holes they had already gotten 100% credit and were just trying to make some money on top of that. If it were my shop I'd do anything I could to make sure as few people as posible ever found out I had bettles even in a single cigar. Bad word of mouth.
