  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I've been given 3 God of Fire sticks that have been in my humi for 6 months.
I've never had a GOF; my B-Day is July 6 and I think I'll toast one.
I've heard a lot about these smokes; should I be ready for a treat or is it all hype?

Only smoked one a Cameroon and really enjoyed it. Nutty, earthy, spicy but not an overpowering spice just hints, couldn't pinpoint the exact flavor but it was close to ginger, cinnamon or maybe a little like the a caramel apple. Wasn't too strong, closer to a medium smoke. Perfect burn. I am glad that I didn't have to pay for it though, at that price I'd rather pass. Enjoy it Bro, don't know what you like to drink with your smokes but I paired mine with snifter of Tariquet XO armagnac. Hmmm, that might explain the cinnamon.

Which GoF do you have? Carlito or Don Carlos. I found the Carlito GoF to be an excellent smoke. Great even burn,I got a fantastic cinammon aroma with nut and minimal spice.

The Don Carlos GoF was a nice mild smoke. You will be in for a treat with either smoke.

JMHO.

I have the Carlito.
Good to hear that this will be a nice smoking experience.
Thanks for the input...I'll post again after I torch it.

I just had a Carlito GOF 06 version last week and it was very good. I would agree to the sweetness taste, medium bodied, but i got black cherry notes to the smoke as well...very good! :smokingco
