not from smoking the cigars, but from my sinuses. Knocked me out of commission for the past few days. Fever of 101. This IS a cigar question...I had no problem with my sinuses until I read about and started retrohaling with the smokes. Once I did that, I got a major sinus headache and could feel a soreness behind my throat, like a sore throat but not IN my throat...more in the nasal cavity towards the back. Could the smoke have caused this? It's not fun driving with a fever...lol.

probably a combination of you getting sick and the retrohale. It runs you a little raw at first but if you keep up the retrohale it will help you taste the cigar better.

it was just weird how I got that sorriness afterwards and then went down like a brick. Took about 14 hours to get sick.

If you have had sinus trouble before the smoke probably caused it. This is the reason i cant/dont retrohale it does add to the expirence but at a high price

well...I USED to have bad problems with my sinuses, but not in the past few years...it was just weird.

After I smoke and I've been retrohaling, I find I'm usually a bit stuffy the next few days. Not a big deal to me, especially when it enhances the flavor experience. Never ran a fever or anything though so you were probably coming down with something and the smoke just aggravated it.

Probably the case with retroaling. I have been lucky and never really have had a problem with it. But when I feel a sore throat or cold coming I usally pass on smoking.

I Had a bad bout with sinus problems,asthma and yet I still smoke. What can I say I love cigars, they really don't bother me as long as Im not inhaling. A few times I inhaled a little bit by accident damn near killed me! Smoke period is bad for sinuses inhaled or not as told to me from ENT.
