  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Paired up this maduro churchill w/ a Yuengling black & tan...
Started off real nice and spicy. Lots of floral notes w/ maduro sweetness. It reminded me a lot of a Ramon Allones reserve.
Second third brought in some lemony zesty tastes. This flavor kept intensifying into the final third. Unfortunately, I had to cut this one short cuz it started raining again here in Miami. Anyways, I did enjoy it but I'm not sure how I feel about the lemony flavor. It went pretty good w/ my beer. I'll have to revisit this one after some more time in the humi.

Cigars with beer is a whole world regarding pairing! I love it!
I used to think beers didn't go well with cigars, but with all these new microbrews and seasonal beers... there's a beer to perfectly match just about any cigar.
I still have plenty of experimenting to do...
