  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

great day at work

so for about 5 months now, I work at a salon in Santa Monica, right next to a cigar shop. Hollywood smoke to be exact. it's right next to Schwarzenegger's old restaurant Schatzi's on Main. now it's a different owner but I see Arnold every few weeks walking around, he still has his production company upstairs.

anyway, today I had a slow day, not many clients, so since it was windy, I sat in the lounge, smoked a Padron 64 Maduro Imperiales, then I did a haircut, had another break, walked right back over with my client i just finished and had a Bolivar Belicoso fino, awesome smoke, still had some time left so I lit a Tatuaje Noella. did another client and was done for the day. came home and lit a Tatuaje Cojonu 06 while watching TV, after that, I went into my woodshop, been woodturning a lot again and was making a few handles for some gouges while smoking a Tatuaje Regios reserva.

Man did I love this day. it's now 2;30am and I am done making a tiny bowl, now i'll hop in my sheets and hope that this was not the last time.
my client had 2 cigars, first a Montecristo, non CC and after that also a Bolivar belicoso fino. he washed it down with 2 Martinis, I think I created a monster, he said he'll be back tomorrow.

night guys, damn what a day

Sounds great by me!

Sascha - ever try your hands at pipe making? It seems simple to me (practically speakin -from a machinists perspective), but some of these pipe-makers are creating works of art & nice coin too.

When you hit the big time & get recognized for your talent(s) - don't forget about all us little people!
