Great Places to smoke in Kansas City, MO?

Hey yall!

I am spending 10 days in Kansas City MO (teaching a workshop) and would love to know if anyone knows of a great place to smoke here? A great B&M, or cigar bar etc...I have a bunch of great sticks on me to smoke :smokingbo

Any info would be great!

kc recently passed a wonderful smoking ban. however, as far as a smoking b&m, the outlaw is probably best. it's in the north part of kc, close to the airport.

this was the pete event at outlaw. the sound is a little rough and the interviewer is a bimbo, but kind of interesting hearing pete.

i live about 45 miles south of kc. i am probably going to be up there sat afternoon. if you want to hook up i can show you outlaw. they are have a nestor thing up there sat. shoudl be a lot of people.

Nope, I am not a fan

We are working like mad on the workshop stuff, we have to have it ready to go by tom, but we have Sat off for the most part

I was tempted to drive to The Outlaw for the Pete Johnson event from Chicago! I lived in the Kansas City area for several years after my KU days, but moved to the Windy City before The Outlaw was open.

I enjoyed Diebel's Sportmens Gallery on The Plaza and thought it was a nice store. Curt the owner was a gracious and hospitable.

for sure diebel's is a great store. oldest in the city. nice stock and good people. just don't have a smoking area or lounge.

I loved going down to the Plaza area and there is a huge park around the block as well if they aren't letting anyone smoke cigars around the plaza. Not sure since I dont live there anymore but when I did I bought my cigars there and walked around and sat and "people watched" and enjoyed a good cigar.

got a hold of brooks today. his seminar was taking up too much time to go to outlaw, but i did stop by and talk to him and traded some sticks. great to meet.
interestingly enough, he is in kc to do a photography workshop with a friend of his. the friend is going to be shooting my daughter's wedding next month. small world!!!!
