Welcome... Glad you stated what 757 was.. Would of never guessed it was a area code.. I figured it was a Boeing airplane..

In that case.. Welcome from the 816 Killa City!!!

It's kind of a locals thing that started in the mid 90's here when we got our own area code. It was a big marketing thing for the area, "best in the 757" and all that type of stuff. Radio and local TV stations broadcasting in the area would say "covering the 757" and it kind of stuck.
