Has anybody out there dealt with gunbroker.com? what did you think about it? What was your experiences? What is your advice about on-line dealers or buying on-line? If you didn't like this site, what site would you recommend?

I've bought pistols, shotguns and rifle uppers there. Never one bad experience. FWIW, I only buy gunbroker auctions from FFLs there who also have standalone websites I can check out.

I have used them in the past, but haven't lately.

It was nice to find a good deal and win the auction and not pay any state tax on it.

It's been about 6 years I think but I got my Beretta 96 off a gunbroker auction. Was like buying something off ebay. A little apprehensive about what condition the inside barrel was going to be in, then it showed up bright and shiny.

Aim Surplus is a site I'be bought from and things went smooth and on time.

I have bout guns off both gun broker and guns America and both transactions went smoothly. It helps if you have an ffl dealer close by, both sits have listings of them to facilitate.

I just received an AR I bought through gunbroker.....smooth and no problems. Just be sure to review the seller's feedback rating and comments and there should be no problem. In this current buying frenzy enviornment I would not buy from anyone on the site that didn't have a feedback rating.

Used it once with no problems. As has been mentioned, I checked feedback and think I was also able to check the dealer's stand alone page.

Check out ArmsList.com. It's great to find local and semi-local private sellers. I prefer it to Gun Broker without a doubt.

Yup same here. Used it few times and smooth transactions. Sometime tho the sellers are small mom and pop type stores and probably only check email once a week so communications could be slow.
