While doing yard work this evening I smoked this NC cigar. It's a very attractive, well made cigar with a cedar wrapper and red ribbon borders. One of the reasons I chose this one this evening was the aroma of the tobacco when I slid it out of the cello. Don't laugh, but it was definitely reminiscent of that wonderful aroma you get when you bury your face into a brand new box of Cohiba's (the similarity ended there). It was beautifully constructed with a smooth cameroon wrapper and firm Nicaraguan filler. Clipped easy and clean to open a perfect draw. To me it was a medium strength cigar, very pleasant throughout the first half. I didn't pick up any extraordinary flavors, just a good tobacco taste, but I liked it. After the first half, it began to get a little harsh and I tossed it with about 2-1/2" left. Prior to that though I have to say it was pretty good.
