  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

HA!! My employer thought they could keep me offline!!!

I just got around to going up to verizon and picking up one of their wireless network cards that plug right into the USB port on my laptop. Now I don't even have to deal with with the internet nanny at work anymore. I haven't been smoking a whole lot of cigars lately, but I've been playing some poker.

Be careful... for if it is their laptop or you are consuming any of their network bandwidth you may still be subjected or governed by their policies.

Just my $ .02

If you're using a Verizon Wireless card it is bandwith you own, not theirs.
This is true. It is my laptop, and I pay something like $50 per month more on my cell phone/FIOS bill for unlimited broadband internet. It will be cool on our trip to Arizona next year when we can use it in the car.
