Now that is funny. I had almost the exact same thing happen to me after eating a protein bar with a sugar substitute that must be close to the one used in these Gummi Bears. The bad part was dumb ass me didn't make the connection until I ate a second one a couple days later. I had to leave work the second time.... Oh man, that was not fun.
