Have you ever accidentally smoked the BAND of a cigar? I just did :hammersma. It's dark out and I'm enjoying an Oliva V Lancero. I take a puff and I'm like " wow, that was a weird flavor...". I looked and, sure enough, the edge of my band is singed, lol. DOH!

This past Independance Day I was about 6 inches into a CAO America Anthem (the big ones in coffins) when I picked it up and ... put the wrong end in my mouth Bill Cosby style. My excuse was that I was kinda stoned off the cigar, but my buddy has never let me forget it :crosseyed.

Anyone can to join my humiliation with a confession?

I came close... when I smoked my Drac on Saturday night it was really dark outside in my backyard, I had a few beers and I started lighting it up. Luckily I didn't get too far and realized what the hell I was lighting... the band at the foot!?!

ive almost put the light in my mouth one time. i was working on the toiler( the toilet cooler if yall remember that thread), which i promise is almost done, and i put my cigar on the fence. when i picked it up again i had it backwards, luckily my friend was lookin out for me and said something. she hasnt let me forget it either

I gave my brother a box of Tabac perfectos and they have a band on both ends, he cut the wrong end and began puffing away... I brought it to his attention, he said he ment to do it... I found out that he had smoke several of them that way...

Just toasted some a tad, never really "smoked" them but they did get brownish.

I've done it a few times. Oh well...worst was when I was using the band to keep the wrapper in place and was getting down to the last inch...had to keep sliding the band towards the head every few minutes until the damn thing fell out of the band and into the lap, then rolled off the lap into the thigh....thank God I was wearing shorts because if I hadn't gotten burned by the damn thing I would have completely forgotten about it.
