I watched Haywire lastnight....

The storyline was a little blah, But I really liked it and will watch it again tonight.
I think Carano was believable in the part she played. As far as her acting? Hell it was her first 'real" acting job and like I said. She was believable and made the fight scenes look more real than any other girl that I've seen in fight scenes. Even when she was getting her ass kicked.

I don't think it was a waste of time.




PS: The special features on the Haywire DVD were very interesting as well.

I couldn't get over them getting rid of her voice and dubbing in someone else's for the whole movie. Otherwise it was pretty enjoyable.

I've seen lots of her interviews......it sounds like her to me. :scratchhe

They have said it was altered some but not dubbed......

This wasn't the article I meant but addresses it. Definitely had major work done to it at the very least and probably wasn't hers at all. I just found it distracting but still enjoyed the movie.

I still think it was altered and not dubbed. They do amazing things with Auto-Tune these days. Its made a lot of musicians careers more than it is. Its so easy to tune, so why pay another actress to dub it. But I am by no means sure or an expert....

Still......thanks for pointing it out to me. Even tho I did notice that it was more "raspy" during the movie. It sort of went over my head. Could of been a senior moment thing. lol
