Anyone smoked one of these lately? I remember they came out around the same time as the petit edmundo but had a strong ammonia taste to them which put off a lotta people. So wondering if anyone here has revisited this smoke and what their thoughts were.

I have smoked a couple. To me, they are nothing but a "1 stick in the humidor" type of cigar.

The HdM was released around '04 and the petite edmundo a couple years later.
I'm not really a fan of that size. I think they get overheated too easily and have too loose of a draw for my tastes.

I notioced a lot of amonia coming off these when they first came out and that turned me completely off of them. Wondering if someone smokes these off and on and if they're worth a revisit.

I guess the verdict is out brother ! These are not the best sticks in HdM's line. If you are keen on them:

1- Buy a 5er
2- Drop to the bottom of your humi
3- leave them their for 2 years.

Extreme ? Maybe, but this is the only way I can see these improving. "Major Aging"

I hear you Munther I've read fabulous reviews about them but didn't find them to be all that appetizing though I did think some age would help them greatly.
