BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I use 5 large Bovedas plus 2 cups of Mimi KL in cigar coffin to recharge my Bovedas in my two 44QT Tupperdors.

They're about ten bucks more than your regular KL, but they're round, so they look less like KL. Also, they were delivered to my door, I didn't have to go to the store.

Well, it seems that Bodeva, HF beads and KL all work great. I think the the only time people have a problem is when they don't use enough of these descants or they use a leaky desktop humidors. The big difference between these products is that KL is DIRT CHEAP !
I have 3 lbs of HCM in my wino. Prob overkill but it stays rock solid at 65. I have oasis xl and Mimi KL in my tall cabinet. Both work great for me. If I was to recommend a way. I would go with KL and save some money. It takes alittle longer to get it stable with KL but holds solid once you do... Just my experience
I've never used the KL that had the blue crystals just because I was afraid of possible odors or any other issue that they may cause. Below are some links to the Pearls that are exactly the same as the old Exquisicat that Petsmart used to carry.

So I have to admit, I'm cringing a bit at the idea of using kitty litter, I guess it's the "litter" part.
Having said that, since these are desiccants and desiccants are meant to remove humidity, how are you guys using them?
Also, any issues with KL dust? I use an ultrasonic humidifier in my cabinet now but I'm looking for a solution for my Pelican case.
