  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Bowl Heat for me don't matter what type of pipe I am smoking. There are many factors in why a Pipe gets hot.
One reason is because a person is smoking to fast, Another issue could be the tobacco is packed to tightly, Pipe bowl size another reason it can get hot. For me Smaller the Bowl the hotter the pipe. Type of tobacco being smoked also can be a reason for hot pipe. Most times wet tobacco will have HOT pipe but not always the case. Burley even dry can burn hot I have found to be the case for some blends...

At times slow down the smoking can keep it cool. Not always..
